How to get from prague airport to the conference venue
By public transport:
Take municipal trolley bus or bus no. 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín, then take metro line A to “Dejvická” station (two stops).
The conference venue is situated 600 meters from the metro exit (towards “Bus station”) – see the map.
Travel time: 45 minutes, ticket price: 40 CZK (valid for 90 minutes). Tickets can be purchased in following ways:
- In information centers and yellow vending machines at metro stations
- In every tram (only by contactless credit/debit card) and bus (only from driver, it is slightly more expensive)
- In newspapers shops
- In the new mobile application PID Lítačka
We recommend that you find the public transport stop near to your planned accommodation. You can also find other transport links here.
By taxi
Taxi is much more expensive than public transport and it is only a little faster. It is reasonable to use taxis only for night arrivals/departures, when bus no. 59 does not operate.
Only official airport taxis (Uber) are allowed to operate at the airport. You can find taxis in front of the arrival halls of both terminals. Moe information about the Uber service you can find at www.prg.aero/en/taxi
How to get from the main railway station to the congress venue
We recommend using public transportation instead of taxis: it is cheaper and usually faster due to heavy traffic. The main railway station “Hlavní Nádraží” as well as the conference venue are situated close to metro stations.
From the railway station “Hlavní Nádraží” take metro line C (red line) to “Muzeum” station. There change to line A (green line) and continue to “Dejvická” station.
The conference venue is situated 600 meters from the metro exit (towards “Bus station”) – see the map.
The journey takes about fifteen minutes and you can use a 30 CZK ticket (this ticket is valid for thirty minutes after validating it on the bus) or a 40 CZK ticket (valid for ninety minutes).
