We are happy to announce that the CESB22 conference has received official patronage for the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Only significant events that correspond to the Presidency’s objectives and priorities, such as climate protection or the promotion and development of new technologies in Europe, are eligible to gain this kind of support from the EU.
Czech Republic will chair the Council of the European Union between 1 July and 31 December 2022.
We are very pleased that the next edition of the CESB conference received a great deal of interest from scientists of all career stages. During the May and June, we received more than 200 abstracts in all thematic areas of the CESB22, however, most often the authors worked with the Energy efficient buildings and districts and Decision-support tools and assessment methods for sustainable built environment topics.
The accepted abstracts are currently being evaluated. The deadline for submitting full contributions is October 1, 2021. We look forward to your next contributions.
You can now submit your abstracts (150 – 200 words in English) until June 15, 2021, using conference system available at https://www.conftool.com/cesb22. Successful authors be notified about abstract acceptance on July 15, the deadline for submitting full versions remains October 1, 2021.

We are glad to announce that now you can submit your abstract on selected topics of 150–250 words using CESB conference system at Conftool. You can do so until 1 June 2021, successful authors be notified about abstract acceptance on 15 July.
All papers accepted by the Scientific Committee and presented at the
conference in oral or poster form will be published as open access papers and submitted for indexing by ISI (Web of Science) and Scopus.

We are very happy to announce that we have just started preparing for the next, 6th issue of the Central Europe towards Sustainable Building (CESB) conference, which will take place on July 4–6, 2022 in Prague, Czech Republic. We are so glad that we can continue the now thirteen-year tradition even in this very turbulent time.
So far, we still hope that in 2022 we will be able to meet in person in Prague, but if not, we have prepared a plan to allow you to enjoy this event almost as if you were in Prague. Meanwhile follow our website, we will keep you updated about the next steps in the preparation of the CESB22 conference.
